Is it possible?

Ok..is it possible to play the keys of the triton studio and record those notes into the mpc2500 sequencer? I cant get it to record. I can record the only record it if i hitthe pads.

mpc midi out A/B -> Triton midi in
triton midi out -> mpc midi in

should let you use both the pads and the keys

that's how i have it hooked up, i hear both the pads and the keys. but only the pads record into the mpc's sequencer. The keys do not record. Is there some setting that im missing?

Is your recording track in "Drum" or "MIDI" mode?

dont use a 2500, but try doing it on a new track with a new program, that how i do it with my 1k. hope it works!
