MPC running VSTs

got my MPC running VSTs via cubase using the midi out onthe MP to the midi in on the PC, thing is I want to use the individual midi channels so that I can play a multiple of vsts in real time, is this possible? i have managed to run two at the same time but have to be off the same channel and the same note/melody,

I have tried assigning say midi out 1a to the pad sound on vst 1 and midi channel 2 to the other vst which ios for a bass line, so far it is not working, the best result I have got so far is that I can get em both running at the same time off the one , if anyone could offert some insight that would be great , the manual aint helping me today!!

i've always had trouble running more then two at a time. i could never get it to work. i wish i could help but i cant. someone swore that it is possible and told me to keep messing around with it. but it never worked for me. if you get it working, please share how!

thinking only other way is to get one of those tritons! but hey aint got the bucks at the moment. or do them seperate then sample the groove onto the s950 then do the next thing,
where theres a will heh, think i will ask akai direct huh? the manual aint giving out any clues...
