How on earth do you expect people to respond in a sensible way without having seen the scsi connector on your cdrom drive. Do you think we're psychic ?

yeah it just says 50 pin scsi, but what type of 50 pin the one on the back of the cd rom is 50 pin but thats 3 times the size

Then go find a SCSI cable that has a connector that fits the MPC and a connector that fits the cdrom drive. What's the big mistery ?

yea cd drives are a bit different. I don't know the actual name for them but its a big one. if I was to see one I could point it out.
