New To The 1000...Need Help With Set Up

Im about to get the one thousand. Just grew outta fruity after three years. Went to guitar center and did well on the pads, so decided to pick one up...What will I need?

I have a decent DELL laptop with cool edit pro and sound forge

I have a set of monitors and a mixer

I figure all I should pick up are some head phones, turn table

Am I right or should I have something else

ONLY you can decide that. If you are primarily sampled based then what u have listed is fine.

-MPC1000
-Soundcard or Multitrack Recorder
-Turntable
-Records
-Monitors
-Mixer
-PC or Laptop(if you go soundcard route)
-Headphones.
