I have created some samples which I want to try and make available on as many AKAI formats as possible. How on earth do I do this?
I have tried the usual google trawl, but most sites are for a particular model and not geared towards compatability problems.
I want to be able to do the mapping that works with everything ideally, but from what I can make out I will need to create three different versions:
Create with MPC3000 to work with MPC60, MPC2000 & MPC3000.
Create with MPC1000 to work with MPC2500 & MPC1000
Create with MPC4000 to work with MPC2000XL, MPC4000, Z4, Z8, S5000 & S6000.

Does this sound correct to anyone?

Answers on a self-addressed envelope to the usual address.

Cheers

save them as .wav file i believe all MPC's can load .wav
this way you can make a sample pack and let the individual
user create his/her own program with the samples you provide 8)

It's the programming that I want to make available rather than just the WAV's , so that everything is mapped out.

i dont think you can make a program that works on all them MP's so you probably gon have to re-program your sounds for every different machine

reading between the lines, i think this was suggested (albeit extremely subtly) in his initial post by the following:
