2 questions - connecting to a synthesizer + Cubase

hello there people of the world..

I got a good guess at both of these but id rather someone just told me every step so that I can be 100% sure

first q:

i recently got a synthesizer (i got a dave smith evolver) and I need to know how to connect it to the mpc and set it up so that i can play it straight into a sequence

second q:

how do I connect the MPC to Cubase through MIDI so that I can record each track in perfectly in time

any help on these would be most appreciated

I guess you have to get started somewhere. First, I want you to understand that I'm not here to hurt feelings or anything of that matter. But if you follow these simple steps, you'll notice how much more info you'll absorb...go through and read all of the manuals first, then hit the forum when you run into a snag. You won't learn if someone tells you the answers and you not understand what the concept is in the first place.
