problems recording with the main out function

im tryin to record a sequence(with the main out function) which has midi sounds from myy keyboard, but everytime that i record the sequence -the mpc 1000 records everything but doesnt record the sound from my keyboard.....
i got my mpc connected to my mixer and my keyboard too.......

what can i do abut it??????

so your sound from the keyboard is only in your mixer... you need to sample the keyboard sound to the mpc or use the input through feature - that way the keyboard audio goes through the mpc and can be recorded when sampling the main out.
a good control if all your sound are coming out of the mpc is to plug a headphone in and hear what the mpc is playing.

MIDI does not "sound" - it's only data. If you're using MIDI cables, the sound from your keyboard is still coming out of your keyboard, not your MPC...........
