mpc 1000 internal hard drive

YO BROs,
New to this site , and cant see the answer anywhere so here goes.
I got an MPC 1000 reciently , I bought a Hitachi HTS 541080G9AT00 80GB
internal hard drive and the mounting kit and fitted them both.
Switched on the MPC and went to Mode LOAD or SAVE but I cant find the hard drive in the TO or FROM fields. HAVE I FOGGOT TO DO SOMETHING..?
Just MEMORY CARD or INTERNAL MEMORY are coming up..

YO Nic ,
Thanks for replying , I got it to work EVENTUALLY, after having to
Unhook and Reconnect it about three or four times.. My Guess is it may not have been SEATED in the mounting kit properly, as I said before unhooked and reconnected a few times and BINGO, it came up .

OUT OF HERE...!
