cf card

I have the mpc 1000 &i have a alot kits i just got from a homie & when i extract them to my mpccf card it tells me it cant create a folder here in that drive how can go about sending my sounds to the mpc 1000 i even tryed copy /cut/paste still the same thing plz help?
