Leaving MPC on overnight

Leaving MPC on overnight

I know this has probably been asked several times, but I couldn't find the thread...So is it safe to leave an MPC on overnight? For a week straight?
WHat are some thoughts on this subject?

And turn your contrast all the way down.

Use some common sense though, if you aint using it enough, just turn it off.

What is it with people's obsession to leave the MPC on while they're not using it? If you don't use it turn it off. You got your own private powerplant or what? Do you leave the engine of your car running when you don't drive it ?
