BPM matching question/help please.

i searched but couldn't find any results. i am lost in the BPM match so i got this loop and i want to fit it in a 2 bar sequence of a loop that is 2.3 seconds i have 2 loops that i want to put in those 2 bars. I click on trim mode then edit then time stretch then BPM and ill have one both loops set to 4 and i dont know what to put into the source tempo i'm assuming that its already pre matched for me? and i put the beat of my sequence which is 93 where new tempo is and i try to set it and its off.

Another question is is there away to slow down a sample while having really high pitch still? instead of changing the speed just the pitch it basically.

not trying to be an ****, but the best advise i can give is to get off the computer and learn the mpc.

Honestly,this post is quite a mess...Try using the coma and full stop more often,it makes it easier to understand and then people don't have to read it 3 times to understand the meaning.
I'm not trying to be rude by the way,just try to make it more clear next time.
By the way,what kind of software are you using ? With beat matching and syncing the best for me is Ableton or Acid (my friend likes it).

you have to first, get the tempo of the loop, wich is called original tempo.
you can do it by usign the detect tempo function. or play with the tap tempo.

then timestrech it to the final bpm ( the one of your sequence) and your done.

if you want to modify the lenght of a loop without changing his tone ==> timestrech

if you want to slow down,speed up your sample, but it changes the loop lenght => pitch

if you want to pitch up or donw, and keep the lenght of the loop => pitch shifting. (basicaly it is a pitch then a timestrech applied to fit the bpm, it is done automaticaly for you)
