Hey, I am new to this board and was looking for a little help on how to add a hardwar mixer to my setup to do all my mixing with. I currently have an MPC 2000XL, two synth rack modules, a 4 input soundcard, Cubase SL2, and a 6 channel mixer. As of right now I run all my equipment into the 6 channel mixer, and from there use the control room outs to track out each sound into Cubase. Once in Cubase I do all my mixing, howver I hate staring at the screen for so long and using the mouse, I would rather get a mid size mixing board and use that to mix everything, while using some of the plug ins from Cubase (ex: Having the channels on the mixing board have reverb, chorus, compression etc.) I dont even know if this is possible, but any input you can give would be great. Thanks and I will do my best to answer some questions on this forum for good Karma. Thanks again.
