the beat making on the MPC books have had a lot of great reviews on the site.

not entirely sure what kinda lessons your looking for. i live in the Dot aswell, and for me ive just played with it and learned on my own, if theres something i want to do but dont kno how, look through the manual then ask here if you need some more help.

im definitely going to be picking up atleast on of the books from here for xmas tho.

Not really a trail but trial and error will get you kinda far in learning for yourself. SO MANY people want that "auto experience" button
