Thinking about getting this...

Well i need an audio interface... and monitors and a mic... so i was thinkin about just getting this package..

i understand that it doesnt cost thousands of dollars.. i just need somewhere to start...
does anyone know if the presonus box here will work good with a laptop..and if the monitors are going to be anygood?..
im using a mpc 1k and a triton keyboard and a Numark turntable...thats my equipment.. i just want to make sure everytthing will work fine before i spend my hard earned money...

or if you have anyother suggestions please let me know.. thanks

i have the firebox. i think it is great except for the to few inputs. other than that, i get 2.5ms latency wit fl studio 6. the preamps are ok, but i have to turn the gain up to about 75% to get a decent signal. its a good interface in my opinion.

how could i found out how much latency i would have?....
are u using a desktop or a laptop?
