Are they compatible with protools? I have the LE version. Will that work?

they're not compatible. I own an 1820m and use cubase though and am quite pleased.

Nope Miss nicole i havent. I got the le version from a friend and thought it just might be compatible with the 1820. nor did i know u had to have a digi product to use it. i was just excited to have it. Thanks for the replies. Im still gonna go with the 1820 only because i already have cubase. I just wanted to see what all the protools hype was about if i could. :?

the 1820 is working great for me.

not even the 'm' version, but the sound quality is very nice.

tip: spend the time to learn how to use the mixer software that comes with it.
also the dsp effects they give you are pretty decent and i use em sometimes.
