i was thinking about 2 get a cd recorder or can i hook up 2 my computer 2 record my beats and i was going to get it of ebay da cd rec... so cheap not ..$400 . cuz im thinking im going 2 get my mpc custom painted :wink:

yo you should search for connecting the mpc to the computer. there's lots of stuff on that here. just use your Audio Outs on the mpc to your soundcard INput. just record your beat. does your computer have a cd burner? yes? then no need for an external burner.

you mean like an audio editor or something?

i use Adobe Audition. Im sure there's free software out there but you gon get what you pay for.

www.sonicspot.com and they may have some things there to help you.

or if you willing to pay, check out Cubase or Adobe Audition. both are great softwares

Can i connect the mpc 1000 to the usb device us 122l to record from ? The us 122l has 1 line in L and 1 line in R/Guitar, and 1 line out. If i want to record the beat on cool edit or whatever, i just have to click on the record button, and it records ? ( it sounds to easy)
