connecting sound modules and keyboard to 4000

I have the mpc4000 and I also have a triton rack and a midi keyboard. If I hook the keyboard straight to the module I can control sounds but when both are hooked up to the mpc 4000 i get nothing. Would anybody please be able to tell me if Im missing something or what menus I need to go to it would be greatly appreciated.

midi keyboard to input
korg to output
go into main and setup a track so that it sends out midi to output of the korg. you can bypass the sequencer by setting it up correctly in MIDI page

i strongly suggest you go learn something about a basic midi setup. its all really easy if you know the basics

start with your manuel index.then look at the submenu's,o.k. now turn to the page headed by the word MIDI.
