multi tracking / assigning sounds / 8-0ut & Midi

Hi,

Just purchased 8-out. I realize that this is handy if multi tracking analog style. When sounds are assigned to channels 1-8 are these settings reflected in Midi? If not how do you Midi-multitrack?

Btw. I´m on Pro-Tools....

The assignable audio outs have nothing to do with MIDI. It just tells the mixer which audio output to route each pad assignment to. MIDI is assigned in the sequencer tracks. Real basic stuff in the manual (page 30).
