1. I am new to both Pro Tools and MPCs but I would like to know if they can be used together and if so how?
2. Can an MPC be used as an outboard drum machine with Acid 6? I am familiar with Acid 6 somewhat( still learnin but can put it together) and need to be able to get drums on my joints so that when puttin it together it is together.
3. Whic of these programs is best to use with an MPC, Acid Pro Tools or Reason?

I ask these questions because I am new to the MPC game and want to know what direction I should go in...Some say PT some say Reason...I need serious advice. Thanks

you can control the sounds coming from acid with the mpc which means you would be using the mpc as a midi controller and sequence the sounds on the mpc sequencer. not really familiar with programs so you need to look around these threads.

Why don't you look into Ableton Live, it does everything Acid does, can record like ProTools and can run alongside Reason. But I would just get the MPC and use something free like Audacity until you're familiar enough with it to decide what production gaps you need your software to plug, cause Acid, Pro Tools and Reason all do totally different things...
