Saving a Sample?

I’ve tried searching through all the information posted in the forum. Maybe I overlooked it.

O.K., I have the 2000XL MCD. Once a sample is recorded, chopped and edited, what is the best way or the easies way to save my masterpiece for future usage when I finish for the night? Any information you can provide me will be greatly appreciated
