Is the numark pt-01 a good turntable to sample from?

IMO pt 01 is good for digging rather than sampling. Originaly I bought one for sampling and digging, it was good for starters. But after period of time I realized homeboys samples were lot cleaner/cripsier, and he was using numark tt200 with white label needle. Soon after I got exact setup and gotta say that fidelity of a good needle dont come close to pt 01.
