USB Question for MPC 1000/2500

i think i got most the basic features of the mpc down, the only thing i never really tried or thought about was getting the mpc usb extention and hooking it up to the computer, what can u do with the mpc hooked up as a slave to ur computer? can u save ur info to the pc? i heard u can link it up with reason also, but can someone help me out a little and give me some ideas?

You can transfer files to and from the MPCs harddrive or CF card and your PC.
