syncronization ..............?????

how should syncronize my mpc 2000 with cubase sx 3????
step by step please

I'm trying to slave cubase le to my xl
When I figure it out, I might be able to help.

Slaving Cubase, MPC as master:
Go to Cubase > Transport > Sync Setup... - set Timecode source to midi timecode, select MIDI input
Go to MPC > shift-9(MIDI/SYNC) > Sync Out - set mode to MIDI timecode, Send MMC - ON
On the transport panel at Cubase turn off the master button and turn on sync button
Dont forget to check Project Setup (shift-s) - frame rate should be the same as in the mpc - default is 25
That should work, but im still having some troubles with it from time to time, im newbie in the syncing thing too

Slaving MPC as a slave is a bit easier:
again go to Cubase, Sync setup, Select port in the Send Midi Clock list
Go to MIDI/SYNC menu in MPC, set Sync in to Midi Clock, Recieve MMC - OFF
On the transport panel at Cubase turn off the master button and turn on sync button

ok i made in this mode but when i push playback , i don't ear nothing .

try first slaving the mpc, u shouldnt have any problems, if u do, there's probably a problem with ur conections...that could help u finding ur problem...

ok i try now i tell you step by step as i make.

1)connect the out my midi interface in the in of mpc and the in of midi interf to the out of mpc
2)i go in the syncronization menu of cubase sx3 and select the port in the send send midi clock list
3) i go in the midi sync menu of mpc and select on in recieve of sync in menu

but it work only in one mode , in or out with 2 cable connect it don't work the song is terrible.

why?

hay help me too i got the mpc 2500 also could u tell what to do i want to use the mpc as the boss cus the quantized on the mpc has a nice swing
