128 MPC SOUND LIBRARY

Hello, I formated the 128 MB MPC SOUND LIBRARY, which came with my MPC 2500. All of sudden, I taught: "Oh my god, what if there was some drum sounds in there?" So was the card empty, I didn´t even read it, i just formated cause i was learning the machine. So please dont tell me it was full of drums? And if it was, how am I gonna get them back?

Oh no... Well I just have to take drum sounds from computer then. Any link tips?

Didn't the card have the same material in the internal rom?

Good fun..I wish I could use an MPC-samples, but those samples so **** expansive..It's much easy to use any other libraries.. They are not just cheaper ,where are so much assortiments... Any **** sounds..u want.. Get yourself converter and convert them to wav,then download them stright to the MPC..that's It ..Job's done..

if there was, just go to your local, guitar center, or sam ash, see if anybody is around, put your card into one of there mp'c and just jack the sounds.. lol i did that with some of the 1000 sounds.. i like thoses sounds.. the freakin mpc2500 has more like techno shyt.. i dont like that.. atleast the 1000 has some real drums..like snars, hard hitting kicks, and nice bass

i really don't think you have to be discreet about it. i mean, you're not jacking the samples, because they still remain on the unit after you save them to your card. plus if they ask, you can just say you were trying to load some of your own sounds, to test the quality of the machine. they'll understand.

i was a little dissapointed when my MPC1000 did not come with the 32mb card.

was that card supposed to have more sounds on it than the internal memory?

because i definately don't like those sounds

are the Akai sound libraries available for download off the web?

o snap.. i didnt even think of that.. but nobody was in the room at all.. idk if they have cameras.. but no one was in there .. i slipped it in real quick loaded them and save em.. then took it out when now one was looking.. but thats a gud idea.. i should of thought of that.. thnx 4 the idea.. but i cant use it no more.. then the soudns are now on the akai site.. so ..

The sounds that came with the 2500 ain't all that, plus you don't want to use something that was pre-sampled for you.

The drums are ok, there is a couple that might be worth using, but for the most part don't even trip, just get drums from vinyl or whatever.

Yea thanks guys, I dont mind anymore. If im correct the MPC supports wav. right? So getting drum kit sounds from computer to my 25 hundred wont be a problem. Also I need a bass line. That is going to be more difficult problem.
