Sound Forge 8 question

using sound forge to chop up some samples and every now it keeps sliping in to a mode where its playing my samples back at double speed. im working quite fast so i think i must be hiting a shortcut somewhere which triggers this.

i keep having to restart soundforge to get rid of it which is slowing me down

anyone know what setting im triggering here? how to turn it off?

yep i tried using undo already, didnt turn the setting back off tho.

ya gotta watch out on 8.0 cause of that stupid slider at the bottom of all your samples that sets the "rate". and yea there isnt an undo for it. im not sure if there is a shortcut tho. keep an eye on that slider and see if its
changing when you do something.

edit* i was lookin into it more a sec ago and found that J, K, & L are shortcut keys for the "scrub" function. i guess its for fake scratch effects or some shti, its wack and that could be what youre doing perhaps. K is the reset to zero one. K is the one that sets it back to zero pitch adjust, but you still gotta have your orange one set to the zero also. hope that helps.
