Akai MPC1000, what speakers are the best ???

Akai MPC1000, what speakers are the best ???

Hi, i just bought an AKAI MPC1000 on ebay and im waiting for it 2 come. In the mean time i need to buy some speakers. Thing is ive found some on ebay but i dont know wether they can connect into the drum machine itself.
I know the MPC has two output cables, one for the right and left speaker. Are these speakers suitable? (I make hiphop/rnb beats).

If they arnt right then my budget is about £40(I live in the UK).

Speakers that have an internal amp (active) can go directly to the mpc outputs.

Speakers that do not have an internal amp (passive) will need an amp/receiver.

hmm i get it, but some items dont specify whether the speaker is active or passive. Also active speakers have there own plug dont they ?

They are better than the ones i showed before arnt they ? Its better getting Studio Monitors than normal hifi speakers right ?

Studio monitors are for studios.

If the sale doesn't specify what the speakers are, you can go to the manufacturer site ans check out the specs.

Yes, (active) speakers that have amps in them use an AC plug of some sort.
