Reason-Axiom25-MPC1000

I followed the tutorial 2 use reason with the mpc1k but i cant seem to make it work.

I want to be able to play my instruments on reason and record it in to my mpc!

I connect my axiom 25 with the usb cable.

The MIDI OUT on the axiom to the MIDI IN on my mpc1k.

My settings in reason :

External Control - USB Axiom 25 in1


Settings on my mpc1k:

Active rack receive channel : 5
Soft thru: OFF
Sequence change by program change: ON
Pad to internal sound: ON

On the main screen on my mpc :

Type: MIDI
MIDI: 5A

haha, I started the exact same thread the other day... check it out, it's right by this one.

hehe yeah but it doesnt really solve my problem
