THIS MAY BE A STUPID QUESTION BUT I WAS TRYING TO DIRECTLY BURN MY BEATS FROM THE MPC1000 ONTO A PHILLIPS CD BURNER THAT IS MY ONLY RESOURCE TO BURN MY MUSIC AND EXPORT IT TO A COMPUTER.... I FAILED ATTEMPTING TO DO SO CAN ANYONE HELP APPRECIATE IT

you have to create a wav file to burn first. this means that you have to resample your track. which means,
go to the record screen,

change the input from analog to main outs,

press play,

hit stop and name the track.

transfer to the computer via usb.

ok, that being said, im going to go out on a limb and guess that when you listen to your song on cd, the quality is going to sound like crap. when that thought goes through your head, look into learning how to mix. using compressors and equalization will greatly fix your sound. you have both in the mpc if you dont have a daw.
