@@@How to synchronise mpc2000xl with synthesiser???#@@@

Hi there I've got a small problem here. I've connected my synthesiser with mpc via midi and from mpc to the mixer.And I can't hear anything, just can see all the notes ona mpc screen. Could you please help with the settings.

are both the synth and mpc set to the same midi channel?

yes I just can't hear anything coming out of the mpc

Could you please tell me whole setup on the mpc from the very begining step after step, because this is the first time i'm using midi at all

well midi carries no audio....so if you have not done this already......plug the syth's audio outs into the mixer as well.....hopefully you have enough inputs on your mixer

Ok so If the synth is connected to the mpc via midi cable nothing will record on the mpc??? so how can i manage to get any midi recorded sounds from my mpc???

That's pretty basic MIDI info. Yeah, you should do some research. The answer is not far.

yea dude do some research to really understand midi/ audio and other studio gear so you will know all your options
pretty much you may need to buy a mixer, DAW(digital audio workstation) with cd burner, either a stand alone unit(like the 8-16 ch roland, yamaha, korg, etc) or software base DAW /plus audio interface. if you already have a decent computer I would go the software daw route like protools LE, logic, digital performer, etc (pc's are ok but mac are more reliable) learn what works for you b4 you commit to spend a large sum of money.
