Why Do I Need A Calculater For Timestretching

And you don't need anything for time stretching when you're good at calculating everything with your brain.

you don't necessarily need a calculator, any old way to find the bpm will work, even your ear will work.

think more like premo and less like a mathematician.

why is people saying its gonna take some math when it comes to timestretching and sampling

cuz u timestretch it by the percent on the 2000xl or by the bpm difference for the 1000(if i remember right). I can't imagine doing a math formula to time stretch though, most people just timestetch what they think is good amount and keep it/scrap it/try again till its good.
