Well...

First of all, what MPC are you using?

Second, do you know the Official AKAI web site? Here it is:http://www.akaipro.com/ There is alot of very useful information here.

Third, the user's manual will show you how to use the sequencer, "making the beat" is a matter of practice, personal preference/style, and some info/feedback from other users.

mpc 1000...omg...I need help.

Actually, I own an MPC4000 and I'm not familiar with the MPC1000's functions really.

Have you downloaded all of the manuals for it? Do you know where they're located???

Have you checked the MPC1000 section of this forum?
