I just got my mpc 1000 from a friend. he included some samples and sounds in 2 cd's.
it brought a usb cable. and a flash card.
I'm super lost and don't know where to start. I tried messing with it and getting around the machine but with no luck. I also tried reading the manual and following directions on how to transfer my samples and sounds to my mpc using the usb cable. but the manual is speakin in terms I'm not too familiar with. I know if I learn I can really master this. is always at the beginning where things are a little rough. I'm very familiar with music and I have a passion for it unlike no other. all I need is someone to help me get to know all the little steps into get in started and working around the mpc 1000. so I'm beggin anybody who will take the time out and just spend less than an hour taking me step by step or just answer some of my questions. at the end of the day it'll be really impossible for me to learn all that there is too learn to get this thing up and running all by myself.

1) how to transfer the samples and sounds succesfully to the mpc via usb cable.
2) how to start recordin and making the beats.
