Loading saved songs!!!!!!!!!

I dont care if this is stupid or/an ametuer question!

I got my mpc a few weeks ago w/o a manual and I was able to fiqure out how to record samples, load sounds from zip disk, assign pads and then make a song. Well, as I shift+save and then save under all the diffrent type options, there is no way to load my song back onto the mpc after it has been turned off! Please can someone help me???????? Thank you!

When saving, choose "Save all sequences & songs" - the mpc will add the extension .ALL to the file, this is what you want to load when loading the song to get all the sequence and song data back. Similarly, saving all programs and sounds will result in a .APS file, which you would load to get all your samples and programs.

So I just saved to all sequences and songs then turned off my mpc then restarted it to load it back in then found the file and loaded it but when I pressed play no sound

you forgot to save "all programs and sounds" which is an .aps file to go along with your "all sequences and songs" which is an .all file. meanin you loaded up all the sequences to your beat but you didnt load the sounds to go with em.

dude should definitely get the manual off the akai pro site and give it a read

Alright I just read over all the post's and I completely understand! Sorry about not getting it at first but my brain was fried! But I got the manual printing so I can avoid these situations, thanks for your time everyone!
