Keyboards and MPC's

Hey guys
I got mpc sorted out except for a few things.

Now I got my keyboard and I wanna know

Am I able to play the keyboard through the MPC and record with the drums or do I have to put it through the mixer and record both in that cos on both instructions manuals say to do each one and I would prefer to go through the mpc, if it can go through does the keyboard quantise?

Yeah if your keyboard has midi first hook up midi out of your keyboard to midi in of your MPC and the midi in of your keyboard to the midi out of the MPC.

Then take the audio out of your keyboard and hook it up to the record in of your MPC. Then turn your input thru ON.

On the main view of your MPC turn the program bar until it says off, also to the left of your program bar it should say drum turn this to midi if you want to control the keyboard through the drum pads.

how do you turn the input thru on and will the mp record the sounds from the keyboard?

Also, If I want to sample again am I going ot have to disconnect the record in from the mpc and run it back to the source I want to record from?
