can someone tell me how to connect my mpc1000 to my pc...i followed the instructions but i never see the icon my task bar to for removal as instructed by the manual...

can someone give me detailed instructions on how to connect my mpc to my pc so i can transfer sounds back and forth and load songs on to cubase for recording...

does it show up in Windows Explorer?

it shows in "my computer"...but the manual instructions says i am suppose to remove the icon from my task bar to complete the connection and i dont see in my task bar at all
