SampleKings DVD tutorial VS MPC1000 ebook

I'm trying to diversify my production game by learning the MPC1000, got blessed off ebay with a maxed out MPC1000, fully upgraded ram and 100gb hardrive. Cat only had it about a month and he ain't want it, his loss my gain.
I was trying to see if anybody has had experience with the SampleKings DVD tutorials for the MPC line of Samplers. Here is the website

The manual has helped get me going and experience has been one hell of a teacher 2, but i was trying to decide if i should cop the ebook from mpc-tutor or the dvdz from Samplekings.

Tutor's e-book is well worth the money, from what I understand.

He's also working on his own tutorial DVD with samplecraze, which will be much better than the competition as well.

the sample kings dvd's are cool, a while back I drop almost 200 buck for a zip that never worked from them, so I told myself I would never buy devices from them

only downfall about Tutor's ebook...you got to read it. could you imagine that?
but i think if you got more then a 4th grade education you should be able to get through it, especially with the pictures and the samples they come with.

See one, do one, teach one...it'd be interested in a video version of the ebook. maybe with the jjos? yes no?

sample kings is ok for the very basics, someone who aint never sampled before with a mpc before ,no computer access to download a mannul , and wanted to learn how to navigate in the mpc, or know the key buttons and menus light stuff. it doesn't get deep into prodution, tips/ tricks, so mabye it aint worth buying, but if you are a total noobie it won't hurt borrowing it
