MP 1000 with no slice/chop sample option

I've got a 1000 --- I think the operating system on it is version 1 --it doesn't slice samples ---can I upgrade or do I need to get another mp?

Upgrade your Operating System. Akai has it on their website. Or you can get the JJ os, which is better.

or u can get the akai os here http://www.akaipro.com/software/OS/MPC1 ... S_v210.zip

since u might run into some problems with the JJ if u dont know what you are doing
