A few newbie questions...

I'm waiting on my mpc2500 to arrive in the mail, now my questions are if you can sample, let's say a string patch off the motif..whether it be the rack/module and use the 16 note-velocity/note variation feature. Also, can you take a patch from a keyboard/module and make it your own...for instance add it to you sound library??...thanks peeps

Yeah, you can make it your own. Just sample it into the mpc, trim the sample pitch it, and if your even want to layer it with some samples off of records. Your can also add some effects to make it sound warmer if what ever to your liking.
