I'm new 2 the forum & new to producing.
I just grabbed the MPD24 'bout 3 weeks ago
I'm currently running FL7 PE and Cool Edit Pro 2.0
I've been meesing with the MPD but have yet to make anything that I would consider a hot track. Any suggestions?
I can't figure out how to add variations to my loops after I initially lay them or any other good effects. The loops that I end up with don't have that wow factor. I saw a just blaze video on youtube and the stuff he was doing with his MPC4000 is what made me finally cop one. He mad it look simple to create straight fire in 5 minutes. Naturally I know i've gotta keep messing around with the hardware and begin to find my own sound but, I want to make sure I get a good ground under me before I get off and running.
It seems that I have everything set up correctly. The MPC2500 preset on the MPD works perfectly with all the pads on the FPC of FL7. I've been chopping samples with Cool Edit and I know how to beat slice and use most of the features in FL7.
With all of that said. LET ME GET A FEW TIPS PPL! (PAUSE)
I have a lot of (60's - 70's) samples and I can upload the FL Studio Bible ebook if anyone wants it. I have alot to share if I could get some knowledge. Thanx n advance
