Hi there

I just got myself an MPC 1000 and would like to load up some 1 bar drum loops that I created in Cubase. So Ive loaded them up and figure that I want to record a midi note exactly one bar long to trigger each loop- trouble is Im having difficulty getting each midi note in the right place when I use the pads to record the data. The quantise dosn't seem to help me here so I was trying to use the step editing to change the start points of the notes but can't seem to work it out?
Any help would be much appreciated and is there an easier way of doing what I want to do?
cheers
Phil

Ps I have read the manual and am still trying....

hi there, i'm quite sure wat ur trying 2 achieve here, therez a coupla thingz u could do, export tha 1 bar loopz from cubase as 44.1 samplez then dump them 2 tha mp via usb and synchronize cubase with ur MP, or as u say u can use midi information 2 send to tha MP 2 play ur sampel.. yup u can, u would want a midi note 1 bar long if tha sampel on tha MP ur playing is set 2 note on.. (play wen a key is depressed basically) if it'z on whole note then u'll just need 2 send a short bit of note information every 1 bar.. presuming ur lupe iz 1 bar.. hope this iz helpful.. JOykrash.
