swapping cf cards

can you do this while the machine is on or do you run the risk of damaging the cards? did a search and found nothing. hope someone can help me out. thanks.

You can do it while the machine is on, but don't do it while in the LOAD, SAVE, or USB screens... Or any other time the MPC might be accessing the card. You don't want to remove a card while the MPC is accessing it.

i do it all the time when in the load/save screen. as long as you don't pull the card out while it is actually reading you'll be fine....
