Seriously though, what do you want to do with Garageband and your MPC? If you want just to track your beats onto your mac then you don't need the Uno but you need a proper soundcard. I assume you have one of those. I don't have garageband so you'll have to get someone else to confirm this but I assume you could use garageband as a kind of MIDI sound module and sequence the sounds from your MPC in which case you would want to hook your MPC up to garageband using the Uno. It would be helpful though if you listed your gear so we can help you out!
