Recording on to MPC 1000

Hi there

I've recorded 8 sequences onto 8 tracks, and can play them back live using the track mute function no problem, Selecting which tracks to hear.
I cant seem to work out how I can record this performance on my MPC (ie the sequence in which i select the tracks).

I've had a go at looking at the 'song' bit (pad 16) but from what i can see, just gives me the option to merge sequences together (not tracks).

Read the manual and can't work it out and I know that when I work it out it will seem oh so simple!!

Any help would be great!

If you wanna record the performance you are doing just using the track mute function onto your MPC, you need too update your OS too the new JJ-OS. it lets you do this, when you play back after recording ya track mutes will play as ya recorded.
