4/4 and 3/4 timing in one track

i have this sample and i chopped it up and it turns out that the second sampe (there are 4 alltogether after chopped) is one beat shorter than the first. so i tried to change the timing of my mpc so the first bar is recorded in 4/4 and the second in 3/4 then the third in4/4 then the fourth in 3/4, im using the first sampe then the second sampe then the first then the second.

now when i do this, it FUKs up my drums cuase im doing kick-snare-kick-snare for my 4/4 timing

and i get to 3/4 and i try and do kick-snare-kick and it just sounds all messed up when it gets back to 4/4 timing.

HAS ANYONE EVER HAD THIS PROBLEM? do you guys mess around with changing time signatures in the middle of a bar?


ive also tried to do it using 4/4 time all the way and i use the kick-snare-kick-snare. but i get to the last mearsure and the sample only plays two beats into it and it sounds goofy dropping the sample at the end. and just paying kick-snare.

i also tried dividing the samples into 4 even parts, but they have the wrong start times so itl start in the middle of the the lick

ive also tried using fillers at the end but it sounds wack.

ANY help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!

You just have to get "Better" at producing. Theirs no straight forward answere. I switch up time sigs in beats all the time and it dosnt sound bad at all. Its all about HOW you do it that makes the difference. TIme is the best teacher

and as a side note, do youknow any songs that use 4/4 and 3/4 timing in one track so i could listen to them and study their programming.
