1. internal memory is not your harddrive.

2. do you want to delete samples from the internal memory which load automatically after you power on the machine?

3. or do you want to delete samples you sampled/loaded yourself?

1. learn the difference and tell us which mpc you are using.

2. the five megabyte internal memory can be replaced with your own samples, but only all of it at one time (e.g. you can exchange the factory samples for about five megs of your own samples, or only with one sample, the five megs will always be used completely.) search the forums on how to do that.

3. if you want to delete your self loaded/sampled samples from the bigger part of the internal memory (which is your workplace) you do this in program mode with "purge". this will delete all samples which are not assigned to a program. read your manual...
