Hi everyone.

I received a turntable a while ago. I want to use scracthy turntable sounds on my hip hop beats music.

Problem is the belt feel off and i dont know how i should go about putting it back on.


Thank you in advance. If you tell me i will include it in my next tutorial film!

Belt drive tt's suck for scratching.

Open it up and look at the thing. Figure it out.

Yeah, I got ahold of a belt drive turntable and it is deffinately not built for scratching. I still mess around with it thogh, so give it a try... There's a way to kind of scratch then push the record at just the right spedd, and it kind of works. This may not make sense right now, but if you try scratching on it you will. Anyways, Lampdog is right open it up, you'll see where it goes. As long as the belt isn't broken, you should be able to put it back. Belt drives work fine for sampling though... Good luck. Maybe once you figure out how to fix it, you could make a video to help others. :shock:

lol nah dont worry aslong as it aint on and spinning, and even if it was, its not like ur fingers are gonna get chopped off. might hurt a little, but thats about it
