Need help i'm barely hearing anything through my headphones is there a headphone volume on the mpc 2000. i have my cd player into record in
and i'm trying to sample and i barely have any volume. i am in stereo mode. any help i would appreciate it

Check to see how well the headphones work in another machine like a stereo and if they check out as no good then you need some new headphones.


If the headphones are good, then your cables might be bad that your sampling with. Also, record in Mono, stereo does nothing to specially but divide the sound, Mono will get you a more direct sound.

And the headphone volume is the main volume knob on the MPC. In sample mode you can increase the record volume if the sample is low recording into the MPC.

9 times out of 10 its always a bad cable. And if it happens to be the MPC itself, then send it off to get fixed, its an internal issue.

what part of houston you? from i'm from houston. i don't have any cables connected just the head phones to the mpc i can hear some but hardly at all my headphones are good i always use them i just bought this mpc used from guitar center
