MPC without Cables/Headphones

Hi All,

I've been signed up here for a while now, as I was expecting to buy an MPC about a year ago but I got Reason instead and my mate got an MPC off EBay...
He hardly ever touches it and I asked to borrow it, but he hasn't got any extra cables for sound output and I dont have any headphones at the moment and couldnt borrow his...
I havent got money this month for headphones but I really want to start using this machine so can anyone tell me what cable I need to be able to get sound out of the machine? Is it just a universal stereo cable? also I just need to confirm: am I plugging one end in Stereo Out of the MPC and the other in the amp or monitors for my PC?

please help, I cant stand looking at this beast without being able to use it!

just spoke to someone at a pro-audio store, they said i needed a 1/4 inch Jack to Phono Lead, plugged into the aux-in on the monitors...

does this sound right?

Yep yep, thats right. 1/4 inch out of the MPC, with the phono end of the cable going into the aux of your amp or stereo or monitors.
