if you want sounds off of a cd, rip the cd to your computer, render them to 16 bit using something like goldwave(google it, and download the demo), or any other audio converter, then transfer the songs or whatever via usb, or card.

sequencing should be pretty basic, press record, play the pads for how ever long you have the sequence set to, the 1k is defaulted to 2 bars, then it should loop. if youre asking about getting the drums tight, the answer is easy, practice. then practice some more. try laying down drums with the time correction on and off. i prefer it to be off, but i usually have to lay it down more than once, but when its done, there is some nice human swing added to the track.

hope this helps.

this is what i do man, load the cd onto your computer and make sure its in .wav, but if it isnt get a converter, i use acid and soundforge to convert my stuff if it isnt in 16 bit .wav, but its sounding like you dont have those things, so download a converter, like the dude told you.

then plug your mpc in to the comp via usb, and drag and drop files, and it makes it much easier if you make folders and label all your stuff so you dont got a huge mess in your mpc when you get everything in there.
hi hats in one
kicks in the other
ect.

then unhook your mpc from the comp, and bang some beats out on that :D

All the sound on the drumlabz cd is in .wav 16 bit /44.1

You just have to plug the usb cable for the MPC 500 to your computer and drag the files on the icon you see on my compter for the PC and on the desktop for the MAC user. The usb transform your mpc in to a flash card reader.

Pretty simple. Keep dose sound for you because only 500 persone have this sound in the world. It s a collectable item too.

Peace. : 8)

or look the section of your manual for loading sound to your MPC.
