DO U HAVE TO HAVE A MEMORY CARD FOR U TO BE ABLE TO USE THE MPC WIT FRUITY LOOPS???

Either a memory card or an installed internal hard drive. The USB can't read from the internal memory. Besides, that doesn't give you a lot of leeway, even with expanded RAM.

if you're just using the mpc as a controller than i wouldn't think so...
